The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter from Mexico, Joss Favela, releases a second single titled “700 Días” (700 Days) from his highly anticipated album.
Following the release of “Gato De Madrugada” earlier this year, “700 Días” offers listeners another glimpse into his upcoming album. Favela’s latest song is a post-breakup ballad that features his impeccable vocals and that classic Regional Mexican sound he is famously known for. “700 Días” is now available on all streaming platforms.
With this new single, Joss Favela continues to display his romantic and vulnerable side. This melancholically composed norteño track was inspired by personal experiences of a two-year relationship, and poetically explains how individuals never forget their exes, no matter how much time passes.

Directed once again by Saúl Masri from the production company DonAlberto, the music video is set in Favela’s ranch as he recounts memories of his relationship. Flashing back between past and present, Favela’s heartache is on full display, culminating in a heart wrenching ending where he burns a polaroid of the two of them together.
“700 Días” is the first single from Joss’ upcoming fourth album, Aclarando la Mente. This 10-song LP will be released later this year and will delight us with a norteño style that represents his finest work to date.
His previous album Llegando al Rancho found success with critics and fans and earned him a 2021 Latin GRAMMY® for Best Banda Album, as well as three nominations in the Regional Mexican categories of the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro – Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year for his successful single “El Alumno” featuring Jessi Uribe.
About Joss Favela
From a rural upbringing in the northwestern Mexico town of Caitime, Sinaloa, Joss Favela has made an international name for himself as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Receiving four Latin GRAMMY® nominations by the age of 31, Joss Favela combines youthful energy with an encyclopedic knowledge of music.
As a solo artist, his biggest hits include “Cuando Fuimos Nada,” a perceptive ballad about the ambiguity of Millennial relationships; “Me Hubieras Dicho,” a heartbreaker about being the more committed party in a relationship; and “Pienso en Ti,” a country-styled duet with Becky G.
His first three solo albums, Hecho a Mano (2016), Caminando (2019) and Llegando al Rancho (2021), have received excellent reviews for their personal songwriting and perceptive lyrics.
Born José Alberto Inzunza Favela, Joss has also written hits for a who’s-who of artists including Alejandro Fernández, Gerardo Ortíz, Banda MS and the Dominican urban superstar Natti Natasha, with whom he co-wrote “La Mejor Versión de Mi.” He has also written for many other international stars.
By the age of 27, he had already been named Composer of the Year three consecutive times by ASCAP.
In 2022, he releases his fourth album, moving to a 1970s-inspired norteño style. He is also unveiling a revamped country-and-western image that is influenced by the era. The album’s first single, “Gato de Madrugada,” is an intense, passionate song about the aftermath of a relationship. Filled with strong material, this album promises to be his best yet.
