Ip Man The Awakening is the latest film following the legendary life of Master IP a legend in the martial arts world. Directed by  Li Xi Jie and Zhang Zhu Lin starring Guan-Ying Chen, Hao Yan Fei, and Miao Xie. In an action film from the start, we follow Ip as he stops a gang of thieves stealing from a woman and young woman. The action is fast and furious as he fights for his people from the Britsh and their martial arts style.

All tied to a human trafficking ring Ip Man has enough and kicks the hornet’s nest and make some huge waves. In all things, it comes back to sting him and those he is there to help. He second-guesses his actions and finds betrayal but is it enough for him to walk away? I leave it up to you to watch and find out. Overall I give one an 8 out of 10 for a great story keeping the IP Man films going. A well-paced story and so much action it keeps you locked in the film. Well Go USA and HI-Yah! put out a banger of an action film with this one. An added bonus it had an English audio track which is always a good thing in my book.
