Interview:
How did you get your start in music?
We started our music career from our love for music and the desire to express ourselves through it. Each member has a different background, but our shared love for rock and metal brought us together. Over time, our chemistry and shared vision led to the creation of Senses.
What type of music did you listen to while growing up?
Growing up, we listened to various types of music, but rock and metal were the most influential. Bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, and Black Sabbath played a big role in shaping our musical tastes. Additionally, we enjoyed classic rock, 80s AOR, and disco, which helped us develop a diverse musical palette.
What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?
One fun story from the studio is when our producer and Dim Argio were recording “Silent Disco”. They were experimenting with different sounds and effects late into the night. At one point, Dim Argio started playing an unexpected riff that left our producer stunned. They burst into laughter, and he said, “That’s it, this riff will go into the track. When you’re tired, you write better.” These moments make the recording process so enjoyable and memorable.
What is your latest song or album you can share with us?
Our latest album is “Out of Line,” which includes the singles “Under Your Spell” and “Silent Disco.” This album is the culmination of our experiences and musical journey, offering a mix of emotional depth and energetic rhythms. We are extremely proud of the result and look forward to its release on July 27th for our listeners to enjoy.
