Today, we sat down with Lade, singer of the band REVOLTONE, and we talk music inspiration, heroes, and much more! Be sure to check out their music below after the interview!
Here is the interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?
surroundings for sure and also just everyday life and most of all the craziness and uglyness in the world right now. A lot of the songs also deal with personal stuff, the KS we know is wrong and we still don’t cahnge our ways etc.
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
It’s always been rock and metal for me. Grew up with great musicl influence from my older brother. The “base” for all music for me is AC/DC and from there various great bands have led the way.
Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
I was lucky enough to have have a dad that I would call my hero. We also have a song called My Hero that is about this subject.
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
This one is though, hopefully I would have something as meaningful as music still in my life.
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?
Don’t think about it too much, just play! Play as much as you can and you will find your own thing. Never compare yourself or your band to others, that won’t help you! Music is not an competition!
