Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?

It’s always the people. The connections. Not only the people that we get to meet but also all those people we never get to meet. Those are the ones that put the hope in my music. There’s something magical about knowing that I’ll never get to meet every amazing person there is. Sort of mesmerizing melancholy in it, a type of beautiful masochism.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

Well my very first CD was Britney Spears haha. We didn’t really have CDs in Estonia back then so my moms friend sent over some music from Germany. Aside from Britney being the first album, there was Scooter, Guano Apes. But that was the very very beginning. Once music started to be easier to get my hands on, I spent all of the time listening to indie, alternative and punk. The Cure, Blink, Placebo, The Smiths, Oasis etc, a lot of estonian punkbands. Up until the point where I started making rap (lol that doesn’t even make any sense when I say it out loud)

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

I wouldn’t say HERO but I really liked the style of Chalice  coming up – a rapper in Estonia who basically was one of the main reasons that I ever started music. That phase passed fast though, after that I have pretty much just looked up to anyone who does is with heart and meaning. Who’s a decent person, not only just a good singer or smth.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

I’d be in another place where reality is not perceived as it is here.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

Talk to as many people as possible and LISTEN to them. Analyze the info received, don’t be blind mice. Humble confidence is key. Invest in your craft. There are probably many more but these are the ones that pop into mind the quickest.
