Interview with Pájaro Sauce

Today, we sat down with Pajaro Sauce to talk music inspiration, music growing up and much more! Be sure to check out their music on Spotify below after the interview!

Here is the interview:

What are your sources of inspiration when you write your music?

We write songs about life cycles, about feelings. We write about grief and love.

Our music is very personal, and our inspiration comes from life, art and who we are.

Our project is characterized by its theatrical influences, we always try to add performative and visual elements, we are ever changing; in the same way music and art are constantly evolving, so do we.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

We listened to all kinds of music: folk, pop, rock, alternative.

We grew up in the 90’s so I think we have all that mix as our main source of influence.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero or idol?

We admire a lot of artists, personally I admire anyone who devotes their life to art and those who give their all, hearts and souls, in anything that they do.

I love honest and authentic creators, showing your vulnerability will make you connect more strongly with your audience and people in general.

If you were not a musician, what would you be doing today?

Well, I would love to be a tarotist. I am actually learning to read the tarot cards, so maybe one day I can fulfill that dream too.

Is there some advice you could offer to our fans out there that want to create music?

Follow your dreams and work for it!

It may be a difficult path, but in the end, you won’t regret it.

Study and learn every day, find inspiration in new or in vintage music too, watch films, attend plays, look for new artists you haven’t heard of before, take as much time as you need to compose, experiment with new sounds and instruments, be genuine to yourself and do art.
