Today, I sat down with Orra to talk about their start in music, fun stories in the studio and much more! Be sure to check out their music below after the interview!
How did you get your start in music?
Music got us into music. We found our way through it to express ourselves. If we had not gotten into Music, we would be involved in some other forms of Art, or simply enjoy Music as listeners.
What type of music did you listen to while growing up?
All kinds of music, classical, rock, metal, experimental, electronic etc. But we were oriented mostly in all types of Rock and Metal Music. We believed it waw authentic and exciting at the time. One thing to consider is also that, for kids growing up during the 80s and 90s, it was a whole new world, whatever that means socially, musically etc.
What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?
There were not any fun stories, recording during the lockdown-pandemic times. Everyone worked isolated for most of the time. Then there were also things like member departures, replacements, and tensions. But these are just standard procedures, things that also happened to us in the past and on the other hand musically speaking, in terms of creativity it was nice as we had the chance to be artistically focused without any restrictions in terms of preparing or recording our music.
What is your latest song or album you can share with us?
Our debut album” Unbounded” is also coming out on April 14th, so we are working on that too. We are happy and proud of this album. We believe a lot in this, and we think that there are many people out there that will share our enthusiasm.
