Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
We have a great deal of influences! Musically we are inspired by bands from the mid-2000s metalcore bands such as Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying and Trivium and we blend that with other influences such as The Devil Wears Prada, Architects, Gojira and Lamb Of God! The only aspect of our surroundings that really influences us are all of the great bands we have the opportunity to play alongside as it really pushes to play at our fullest potential!
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
We all listened to a lot of similar music growing up, from classics like Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Queen, graduating on to metal bands like Metallica and Pantera and then in our teens really getting into the bands we mentioned previously that went on to influence us as a band!
Is there someone you looked up to as a hero?
Hear us out… Arnold Schwarzenegger! As a band we’ve often bonded over his movies, that have brought us a great deal of joy and fond memories! He’s the terminator, how much more bad ass could you be?
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
This the toughest question that we get asked, because we never genuinely have an answer for it. We all play in a band have played in bands since our teens, three of us are professional music tutors, three of us studied music production and we all listen to and love music a lot. So if we weren’t musicians, we honestly have no clue what we would be doing right now!
