Interview with Next Door To Heaven

Today, we have sat down with the band Next Door To Heaven to talk music inspiration, music growing up, and advice for future musicians. Be sure to check out their music below after the interview! A badass band!!!

Here is the interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?

It’s a complicated question. Inspiration is not something that can be explained. Philosophers and artists try to solve the riddle for centuries but they didn’t succeed. For me inspiration is something in the air.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

Different. The first bands I’ve listened to consciously were Genesis and Queen when I was 5. While growing up I’ve listened to rap, metal, rapcore, progressive metal, pop, classical music, alternative rock, blues and etc.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

When I was a child – Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”. Later – Princess Diana, I guess but I’m not sure. I’m my own hero because I have to fight and win every day and if I won’t win I’ll be my worst critic.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

Music manager maybe. I’ve done a lot in this area, love music and know how everything works. Plus I’m well-organized.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?

Make sure you’ve got something to say with your music and if so keep working on it until you create something really good.
