Interview with Lucid AfterLife

Today, we sat down with Lucid AfterLife to be enlightened of his music and thoughts in an interview. Be sure to check out Lucid AfterLife below after the interview on Spotify and Youtube.

Here is the interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?

I have not been inspired to write music for a while actually. I feel alot that I wanted to say has already been said in the previous work or the material I am working on to be released. Inspiration is sacred. Writing songs just to make more content or sell more records is not my thing, so for now my inspiration is somewhere within the potential of the unknown.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

I listened to a plethora of genres and styles. When I was a teenager I painted my walls black and spent most of my time playing random records and getting lost in the music. Reggae, hip hop and classic rock were big, I never really got into metal until my 20s

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

So many people are heroes.

Whenever I see someone being their true self and not giving into society I see a hero.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

I couldn’t see myself not being a musician, but I would probably have more money.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?

Do it, it’s dope af.
