Interview:

How did you get your start in music?

Most of us got into music at a young age. We grew up listening to rock music, picked up instruments, and started playing in different projects before forming Leave The Wave in 2022.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

We grew up listening mainly to ’90s and early 2000s rock and grunge. Bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, and Linkin Park had a big influence on us and helped shape our musical taste.

What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?

One of our favorite studio moments was hearing the first finished song from the album. That was the moment we realized that all the hard work was paying off and that Disturbance was becoming a reality. Apart from that, there are always a lot of laughs, mistakes, and spontaneous ideas that end up becoming part of the songs.

What is your latest song or album you can share with us?

Our latest release is our debut album, Disturbance. It features eight tracks that combine heavy riffs, emotional themes, and the grunge/rock sound that defines Leave The Wave.
