Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
The inspiration for our songs comes from a variety of backgrounds. Some of them are fictional relationships, some of them are based around real life experiences, such as our latest release DKMS, which is about Michaels experience and feelings donating Stem Cells
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
We’ve all grown up listening to very different music to each other.
Michaels interests started with blink 182 and the pop punk genre.
Paul has a predominantly heavier background with bands such as slipknot
Chelsea with bands such as The Who
Matty has a mega eclectic background musically
Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
Again, all different for each of us. Some of us its someone musical, like for Michael it was Tom DeLonge.
Some of us had far more closer heros. Chelsea got into bass and music following on her Dads passion
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
More than likely the exact same 9-5 jobs, just without the music
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?
Do it. The availability and ease to record and self produce is so much more readily available now.
