How did you get your start in music?

Hello!! Thank you so much for this interview. It is our pleasure to meet you and talk with you.

In the first place, each of us has been involved in music from an early age. We loved, we were playing and listening to music as most artistic did and we’ve had dreams as well. Over time and as we grew older, a vision for something great was born in our minds. Thus the beginning of this vision called ‘’Grande Fox’’ happened in 2013 when Nick (frontman-vocalist-lyricist) met Zao (guitarist-visuals) in a bar in Thessaloniki, Greece. Having the same madness, the same goals for success and a lot in common, the decision did not take long to come. Τhis is how we get our start in music and the band was founded.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

We went through many stages regarding music stimuli while growing up. There were lots of huge bands we all listened to and from the other side we’ve also had many different influences individually. To give you some names, I will mention you some of the most important influences for us. Guns n Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, ZZ Top, Soundgarden, Limp Blizkit, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?

Inside the studio, there are always times you feel stress, anxiety and tiredness but generally you spent most of the time doing want you love and having some fun with moments you will never forget. The first story coming to our mind is the day we recorded one of our song called ‘’Burned Beard’’ from our debut album ‘’Space Nest’’. So, during the recording, an incident occurred while Zao was sitting in the living room of the studio. What happened is that his beard came close to catching fire and he did not realize it at first, but finally that incident was the reason we gave this title to this song.

What is your latest song or album you can share with us?

Our latest release is our LP Album entitled ‘’Empty Nest’’. It was released in February and it consists of 11 songs which we believe will interest you a lot if you listen to them. We presented to you a new project with lots of differences compared to our previous albums. Heavier riffs and sound, caustic verse and feelings of anger and indignation. Psychedelic elements remain as always. We look forward to hear your thoughts and your reviews.
