As a I sit down with the remote, I make sure the volume goes up whenever this next band comes on. I enjoy their music as it keeps me calm as well gives me enjoyment. Today, we have sat down with the band Freedivers and talked a bit more about music. We also talked about music growing up and of course listening to a few of there jams on Spotify below.

Here is the interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?
I don’t know anything about other people’s lives. Nothing about businessman, postman or bank managers. I only know about me and my world. Our lyrics are a therapeutic way of expressing how we are losing our freedom as in “The End of the World” or imagining a beautiful fantasy in the pandemic as “Under Arrest”. They are autobiographical
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
I usually listen to everything that comes to me. In a scientific way. I listen to Chet baker nostalgic jazz, Pantera metal rage, grungies all the time. Nirvana, Pearl jam, Stone temple pilots …. bossa nova Carlos jobin … Sometimes I listen to some hits on the radio and I try to put all my attention on their production, because I’m also a producer, and I’m interested in that aspect. …
Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
MY perfect hero would bé a mix of John Lennon,  Kurt Cobain, Peter Gabrie,  Bob Dylan and Steve Vail
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
I would sit on a rock and let life go by. He would contemplate the world from the top of the mountain. A contemplative life
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?

Come on everyone, it’s time to get creative! Express yourself !!! Your emotions await you to live in a song !! In the times we live in, it was never so easy before, you just need a microphone and a computer.
