Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?

As a band our inspiration comes from just jamming together and creating sounds we like. Then from a lyrical perspective, Jake (Vocals/Guitar) writes all of the lyrics for the band and he can only write lyrics based on personal experiences or imagining situations and writing about them.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

The bands that have inspired and influenced us the most are Alter Bridge, Motörhead, Don Broco, The Hunna and Guns n Roses. All of these bands write amazing hooks, riffs and catchy choruses and that is definitely what we try and do!

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

Slash is probably the greatest and most influential rock icon of all time. Everything from his look to his sound screams ‘I don’t give a fuck’ and we love that! Obviously there’s some honourable mentions like Lemmy or Steven Tyler who are absolute heroes of rock music.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

When Jake isn’t writing music he’s practising music and when he’s not practising music he’s listening to music or going on ‘Guitar Safari’ to buy new guitars and amps…that’s all there is for him. Liam is a big fan of video games and cooking while Lewis also loves cooking and spends a lot of time in the gym staying in shape.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

Write more, practice more and then just go out and do it. Be prepared for a long hard slog but it’s the most fun you’ll ever have in your life!
