Today, we were able to talk to David Baron and ask him a few questions on his new song titled Don’t Give Up with Fiona Glenn. After the interview, be sure to check out the song Don’t Give Up below!

Here is the interview:

How did you get your start in music?

My dad was a pioneer of remote recording. He had a truck with two 16-track analog recorders and a console and would drive around recording consoles. I was exposed to musicians, recording, and music very young. I knew it was what I wanted to do by the time I was four years old.

What were your thoughts when you both were talking about creating this song?

I wanted to write a song about hope. I also want to express the feeling that sometimes you can’t help yourself. You need someone to come to you. The analogy became being lost at sea – but it could have been a skiing accident. You have to wait to get help. It was a way of saying thanks to my wife Jinhi who is there during tough times.

With the current situation going on with Covid 19, how hard was it to write or sing the lyrics to the track?

The lyrics were not hard to write as its a universal concept. There’s been so much suffering with the Covid crisis. We were hoping to bring hope to folks.

Will there be a music video in the future for the track ‘Don’t Give Up’?

We’d love to have a video. No plans currently – but that could change.

What do you want fans to know when they listen to ‘Don’t Give Up’?

I would love fans to know that it is never hopeless. Don’t give up. Someone will find you. There are helpers everywhere. Look around and be receptive to help when you need it.

Where can our fans find you on social media for any music updates?
