Today, we sat down with Adrian who is the drummer for Cyanide 4! We talk his start in music, fun stories in the studio and much more! Be sure to check out Cyanide 4 music below after the interview and follow on social media!

Interview:

How did you get your start in music?

I started at quite a young age, by learning the Piano…As it was obvious that I was born to rock, after some years I found that really boring and turned to learning/playing the guitar. But that wasn’t meant to be my destiny, as it seemed! I always felt that I had the rhythm in me, you know, so, eventually the drums were the instrument that ‘had chosen’ me.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

As a kid, at a young age, I used to listen to the Greek rocker, Vasilis Papakonstantinou. That was the first artist that got me into electric guitar sound and eventually put the first brick on what was supposed to be a die-hard Metalhead/Rocker. At around the age of 10, I got into real Hard Rock/Heavy Metal stuff by listening bands like Deep Purple, Scorpions, Iron Maiden…really ‘common’ choices, but also 2 of the first bands that got me into heavy music were Dream Theater & Nevermore, thanks to my cousin, Tolis! ”Dead Heart…” was still a ‘new’ album, at that time! And already a CLASSIC!

What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?

Personally, to be honest, I have no fun stories from any recording to share, especially during the last ones, but I think that the ‘funny’ or relaxing thing is the cold beer we had been drinking each time, all the band mates together, at the end of each album’s recording session.

What is your latest song or album you can share with us?

Our latest album with Cyanide 4 is the “AMALGAMA” out on Perris Records (USA) in May “22. It took us a little longer than expected to have that finished and finally released, but we believe that the overall result was worth waiting for.
You can listen to that album on Spotify, following that
