Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?

We’re inspired by our life experiences, relationships, personal battles, triumphs, failures, and the sad state of affairs in this world.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

We mostly listened to punk rock and hardcore, with a little metal, and alternative rock.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

I had many heroes growing up. Too many to list here. Musical heroes include Brett Gurewitz, Jim Cherry, and Fat Mike (Burkett).

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

We’d be doing exactly the same thing. We’d be dads and working the same careers that we currently balance with our band.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

My advice is to get started and never stop. That is, if creating music is something that brings you meaning and joy. Just get started as soon as possible, even if you struggle to find collaborators on the same level, and don’t let any setbacks stop you. You’ll be told no, you’ll be turned down, and all manner of obstacles will be thrown up by various gatekeepers. Push through.
