Interview:

How did you get your start in music?

I cannot recall a time when music was not a part of my life, with Blax the adventure started in

March 2020 when I started to collaborate with our guitarist Marco Fanella for the recording of the

first demotape which later became the music you can listen through our album “Meravilia” recorded during 2021. The concept came from some songs written in the past and then developed together with Marco. The BLAX project became a family in 2022 when the drummer Massimiliamo Bergo the bass player Giulia Balestrieri, and the guitarist Emil Dellantonio joined the band.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

I used to listen to Iron Maiden and Halloween when I was 11.

What is you latest song or album you can share with us?

So far, the first album called “Meravilia” was released in October 2022.Starting from the fact that BLAX band represents a family where every musician is a member of it with a specific role, “Meravilia” represents the place where this family live, as you can image from the album cover. In detail, we have the family landlordBlax, followed by his trusted butler Hektor, his gardener Argex, the custodian Hexen and the house keeper Katla. Our album is thought as a concept album as the songs are meant to tell the stories around BLAX family, so a central narrative is present in the album.
