Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
It is somewhat the surroundings that influence the songs, but also personal experiences and emotions. Of course one can argue that they come from our surroundings, so I can say “yes” to this question.
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
Well, I am happy to have parents, who are into rock and metal. So even early on I listened to Queen, Rammstein or Kingdom Come. Later, when I was really getting into music, I started listening to bands like Sabaton, Powerwolf, Gloryhammer or Civil War, which influenced my style and desire to play music and sing.
Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
Depends on the context of asking. A musical hero? Metallica probably. They just show how diverse they can be and also give more people a chance of liking metal genre. Hero as a fictional character? Probably Boromir from Lord of the Rings. Just how he battled his human flaws and ultimately sacrificed himself to save the others. There is something in it, you know.
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
Well, I personally love history and fantasy, so maybe I could have been a historian or a writer, who knows! Yet I still like to think that music is my main passion and what I want to do in my life.
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?
Build fan base. Talk to people, post online, communicate. Just putting music out there is not enough. You would want it to be heard, so definitely do what you can to reach as many people as possible. It will help you later in your music life!
