Rowdy and Boisterous. The Strands are a four-piece indie-rock outfit hailing from the
working class corners of the North East. Emerging onto the Newcastle music scene with
their brazen single, ‘Made of Art’ , The Strands caught immediate intrigue of regional
and national radio securing an interview/session on talkRADIO and airplay on BBC
Introducing.

Led by the mesmerising vocals of frontman Dean Herron, supported by Joe Cooper
(Drums), Kyle McCalum (Guitar) and Peter Kinmond (Bass), The Strands’ material is a
generous helping of hard-hitting indie rock, akin to artists such as Blossoms, Sam
Fender and The Strokes.

Speaking more on the release, The Strands explained: “We decided to completely
self-produce this one. Everyone is in the same boat right now in these struggling times
and we’re completely skint too so we thought “why not?” and just went for it. I’d say we
came out with a belter as well.”

The Strands sound continues to evolve and mature with every release. Having created
their own unique guitar driven indie rock sound, The Strands fuse ear worm hooks and
catchy melodies with raw and emotive vocals.

‘Nothing Else’ is set to release Friday 4th December 2020 on all streaming platforms.
