Creators of Upcoming, Released Games Can Submit Through Friday, April 1
TOKYO – March 10, 2022 – Developers can now submit their games for inclusion in INDIE Live Expo 2022, the digital showcase series connecting indie game fans worldwide. The fifth event in the series with more than 42.5 million collective viewers and a record 13.9 million tuning in for the most recent entry takes place across two days: Saturday, May 21, 2022, and Sunday, May 22, 2022. Broadcasts will take place in English, Japanese, and Chinese on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and other platforms to be announced.
Publishers and independent game studios from all over the world can submit their upcoming titles with major news, along with their previously-released games if they have any significant updates or new ports. Submissions close on Friday, April 1 at 4:00 pm JST / 12:00 am PDT / 9:00 am CEST. The INDIE Live Expo Board will notify approved applicants of their acceptance in early-to-mid-April.
For this year’s two-day event, DAY 1 will focus on titles indie game fans can play now. Indie game content creators from around the world will participate in let’s play segments highlighting some of the most important independent titles and hidden gems ready for the spotlight.
DAY 2 will feature news and updates on upcoming titles, featuring world premieres of games, updates on forthcoming titles, unreleased content for available games, and surprise launches. INDIE Live Expo 2022 will also feature the popular “Indie Studios Around the World” showcase on international game development communities.
