STOCKHOLM / DALLAS — In light of the recent developments surrounding the global Covid-19/Coronavirus outbreak, DreamHack Dallas and DreamHack Summer have both been rescheduled. As a result of this change, DreamHack Masters will no longer be co-hosted at DreamHack Summer.

DreamHack Dallas (originally scheduled for May 22-24, 2020) will now take place August 14-16 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. Additional details for DreamHack Dallas are available HERE.

DreamHack Summer (originally scheduled for June 12-14, 2020) will now take place August 6-9 at Elmia in Jönköping, Sweden. Additional details for DreamHack Summer are available HERE.

DreamHack Masters — Fans can look forward to learning more about this event soon (which was originally scheduled to take place alongside DreamHack Summer). Additional details for DreamHack Masters are available HERE.

“While this action is precautionary, it was not a decision taken lightly,” said DreamHack Co-CEO Marcus Lindmark. “We have evaluated legislators’ decisions to temporarily suspend events where large groups of people gather, and the need for so many to shelter in place at this time — all of which have informed our decision to put the wellness of our communities first. We will follow the guidance of trusted health advisors, city officials and venue partners for our remaining events in 2020, and we look forward to sharing the experience of everything gaming under one roof again soon.”

DreamHack will strive to feature as much of each event’s original content as possible and will keep fans updated through the information pages linked above.

Our goal is to continue offering great experiences at our events, which thrive by bringing communities together for these shared and beloved festival weekends.
