House Of Gucci gave us a glimpse into the world of the family of Gucci. I didn’t know much about the Gucci family story prior to watching this film but I am quite familiar with their retail products. The view into their families lives and how they evolved to the Gucci they are today is quite fascinating.
I have to say is go and watch this movie! You will enjoy it! I don’t want to spoil much about this movie in this review but the actors and actresses did a wonderful job in the movie.

- Story
- The story starts off with a young woman named Patrizia Reggiani that had dreams of living a lavish lifestyle. She met this young man at a party who is named Maurizio Gucci. His father owns 50% of the Gucci empire and was going to school to be a lawyer. Patrizia fell in love with Maurizio and together they got married and she became part of the Gucci name. She helps Maurizio take control of his name while enjoying too much of the lavish lifestyle. Murder, Greed, and temptations are exhibited throughout this story!
- Lady Gaga
- Lady Gaga is a house hold name for her music and antics on social media. I had known she had some movies in the past and she was ok in them. She took a hold of the character Patrizia Gucci and brought her to life. I was astonished on the skills she utilized as this character.
- Gucci brand
- I didn’t realize the history that Gucci had in the world. I was astonished that some of their pieces are in the museums even during that time. This was a good way to revisit history and learn things that we never knew or studied.
