HOLIDAY AND FAMILY TITLES TAKE OVER THE DEG’S LATEST “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20” LIST

As we get closer to Thanksgiving and the month of December, holiday titles and family fare are taking hold of the DEG’s “Watched at Home Top 20” list. Seasonal favorite Home Alone moves up to No. 6 this week while holiday classic Elf secures No. 11. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and The Polar Express take the last two spots at No. 19 and 20. Wizards fly to the top of the chart as Harry Potter: Complete 8-film Collection takes No. 1 while the romantic drama After We Collided drops to No. 2.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
