HIT SERIES THE DEAD FILES TO AIR ITS MILESTONE 200TH EPISODE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 2

Former NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and physical medium Amy Allan mark the milestone 200th episode of their hit series, THE DEAD FILES, with a special two-hour investigation – their most challenging and ambitious case to date. The landmark episode and season finale, premiering Saturday, April 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel and streaming on discovery+takes the duo to Flagstaff, Arizona, where an investigation that begins with a plea for answers behind dangerous paranormal activity plaguing a family-owned crystal shop soon reveals that the entire town is engulfed by hauntings.

As word of the investigation spreads, Flagstaff residents begin approaching DiSchiavi, one after the other, to relay chilling paranormal experiences – shadow figures, strange noises and even physical attacks. Given the unusual nature of this case and now tasked with a bigger mission of investigating an entire town’s hauntings, DiSchiavi breaks protocol and asks Allan to meet with him. Expanding their investigation, Allan conducts walk-throughs of multiple buildings where she encounters several disturbing spirits, including a mysterious ancient entity and a vengeful, evil shadow man. Dischiavi, meanwhile, collects accounts of violent unexplained activity from the area’s residents and uncovers a dramatic history of Flagstaff marked by tragedy and bloodshed. With the stakes higher than ever, can DiSchiavi and Allan deliver answers and relief to the tormented community? Or is Flagstaff doomed to fear the dead forever?

About THE DEAD FILES

Former NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi and physical medium Amy Allan are back on the case. Utilizing his detective skills, DiSchiavi interviews witnesses and experts, and researches the history and facts behind each haunted location. Allan, a physical medium who sees and communicates with the dead, assesses the property to identify what underlying entities reside there. Keeping their findings hidden from each other, the team avoids all contact with one another – coming together only at the very end to reveal their shocking discoveries to the property owners, and each other. [Hour-long episodes]
