I had been hearing about Headbangers for months now. This game is suppose to make playing with friends fun and exciting online and locally. I was really excited when they announced that they will be on the Xbox Games Pass Ultimate. Once the game was live, I made sure to download it quite fast to my Xbox!
I was able to download the game through my Xbox Games Pass Ultimate membership. The game downloaded pretty fast as it wasn’t too big to download. The music is nice and the concept looks goofy at times. I wanted to believe this would have me playing for hours at a time like other fun games with friends. Sadly, the most I played was nearly 30 minutes as I gave up after losing so much.
Our Thoughts
Pro:
- Character customization
- I like the character customization part as there were many cool items to put on your pigeon. I had some goofy hair, a jacket, and glasses for my character. I would switch them out between games to find what more cool things there are for my character.
Con:
- Difficult
- Some of the games to play are kinda hard you know. The parts of trying to get your pigeon to hit this or hit that correctly can be quite difficult. I was disqualified a LOT of times and couldn’t make it past round 1 throughout the time I was playing the game. I think this would be more difficult for children when they are playing.
- Stuck on Round 1
- In order to advance to more games, you have to get into the top 20 to go past round 1. I believe I got past round 1 one time. I was glad to be able to get past round 1, but it was an effort. Once I lost there, it was difficult yet again to go past round 1.
