Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers Review

Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers a film by Ryan Barton-Grimley is the story of a misunderstood man called Hawk. Getting kicked out of the Army for staking a vampire or fellow soldier. He comes back home to live with his parents who have at this point kicked him out. Working as a security guard but always on the lookout for the undead.

One nite fate will have him cross paths with some vamps. Teaming up with his friend Rev a borderline modern hippy who does not want Hake to use deadly force. They gather supplies only to come up short while looking to buy holy water. They meet Theo and she asks if they are hunting vampires working her way on the team.

This one was campy to the max and a vibe of late ’80s early “90s horror films. That works oh so well as a huge horror fan I enjoyed this one and so will you. The story is a funny one from Hawk’s point of view and the mix of blood and gore. A perfect blend for any horror fan the comedy is raunchy and off the wall.

Overall I give this one a 7.5 out of 10 a must-watch for horror fans for sure. Check this one out and see how they take on the vampires. They do open this one up for Hawk and Rev to take on other monsters.
