Gun Honey: Blood For Blood Issue 1 Review

Gun Honey is back and with a big mystery! Someone has just offed someone in Montana that is very useful to the agency. This person is very similar in style as our heroine as well as used a gun that is made by one of her makers. Brooks goes and visits Joanna to see if she is the one doing it. While visiting Joanna, they both learn of a Filippa Sterling, a person that was a protégé at the agency. They both think the killer can be her but are wondering why? They visit the gun maker and he is stunned as he doesn’t know who the person that made the purchase is. Right when he was about to release more information, someone shot him with an arrow. This sends Joanna on a rage and follows the person to the set of a movie but it was just a lackey. Joanna and Brooks are thinking on how Filippa is doing this and why and figure out more information. Once Joanna visits someone of interest, she finds some carnage already done that could get her in trouble…

A good story in this issue as we are hooked on this new person named Filippa Sterling. I’m enjoying how they are 3 steps behind on figuring out why Filippa is doing what she is doing until its too late. Joanna is brought out from her retirement in order to help out Brooks in this story. I enjoyed the read, enjoyed the art and of course Gun Honey!
