I was attending the Yelp Elite event titled Galactic Giddy Up Y’all event in Austin during SXSW. While I was visiting vendors and trying out some delicious treats, I heard this voice on the speaker. With the music flowing in all directions, I was caught in a standstill on what has my attention. I watched as this performer sang her heart out with various songs from her past and new albums during her set. I was able to talk to her a bit, get my selfie and learn she had a new album out. I was able to sit down and listen to the album at home a few days later.
I’m enjoying the album Blueprint by Grace Sorensen! I’m shocked on how much I’m enjoying each and every song resonates with various emotions of life. The album was well produced with beats that felt like various musical instruments were utilized to create each song on the album. The fusion of Grace’s voice to each song felt like it was a perfect match of a musical receipt of delicious treats. I had a hard time choosing a favorite song at the moment, but I have to say Video Girl, GTA, and Cologne took my breath away.
I am glad to have heard Grace Sorensen live in concert while also discovering her music and new album. I am now a fan of her music!
