Gato Salvaje Studio has released the third of their planned winter Early Access updates today adding localization for Spanish, Latin American Spanish, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian, and Galician to their Celtic RPG, The Waylanders.

Hot on the heels of their latest trailer giving a sneak peek at a new Medieval location that can be visited when The Waylanders launches, this update marks a major milestone in development. To celebrate the update’s release, Gato has set a 20% discount on the game for the week.

“Our last three updates have been driven by community feedback. Since we launched into Early Access we’ve had so much feedback from players about features they’d like, more lore they’d like to see about the world, gameplay bugs they’d like fixed, and languages they’d like to play in. Everything we’ve done over the past three winter updates has been focused on making sure The Waylanders players are being heard while driving us towards launch,” said The Waylanders Creative Director, Sergio Prieto. “With this update out and whole new communities now able to play The Waylanders in their preferred language, we’re taking a moment to review the latest community feedback before announcing a launch date.”

Gato Salvaje Studio plans to release their final roadmap in the near future alongside the announcement of their release date. Currently available in Steam Early Access and GOG Games in Development program, The Waylanders is set to release on both platforms in Spring 2021. More information about the game can be found on The Waylanders website. Preview copies of The Waylanders are available in Terminals.io.
