I’ve been an Xbox avid gamer for many years as I enjoyed and purchased each generational console since the Xbox 360. I enjoy the games you can find on Xbox as well as the comfortability of their controller. When I heard that there is a controller that you can attach your phone to and play Xbox games on there, I was ecstatic! I researched Gamevice Flex and saw that it can support both Iphone and Android phones, so this had my mind going wild!
I was able to get a sample of the Gamevice Flex for my Iphone 13 Pro to do a review. I was able to unbox the product on Youtube and follow the instructions to attach my Gamevice Flex to my Iphone. The setup process was pretty easy and didn’t know you can have the Xbox Cloud to your Iphone. That said, the Gamevice Flex controller was pretty neat, gripped well to my hands, and played well to my phone. The controller was plug and play, so it worked right off the bat.
Here is our review:
Pro:
- Xbox Cloud
- Xbox Games! On Mobile! No way! With Gamevice Flex, your able to play Xbox games on your mobile device using the Xbox Cloud. I already have an Xbox account with my long history with Xbox, so I was able to play the games I own on my mobile device. The first game I tried I was Fortnite and game ran good on my phone. The controller played well on my Iphone and it was pretty neat.
- Sizes Flexiblity
- The Gamevice Flex comes with parts that are in various sizes to help make sure your phone or your phone and case fit perfectly together with the controller. I was a bit confused at first but with the help of the instruction manual and measuring stick, I was able to figure out which components to add to the Flex. This helped my Iphone 13 Pro with a case fit perfectly into the Flex.
- Easy To Use
- The set up on my phone was pretty easy, I downloaded the Gamevice app to my Iphone. The app provided a video where it helped me set up the Xbox Cloud on my Iphone and get my 1 month free of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This was quite simple for a person that isn’t really high tech like myself.
Con:
- Must Have Home Internet
- I have high speed internet at my home so accessing the Xbox Cloud was a breeze. When I went out with friends to the bar and relied only on Verizon’s 5G U/W internet, the Xbox Cloud went a bit slow to start up a game. I understand the huge sizes of Xbox games, so I’m hoping more advancements are made to Xbox Cloud so games can be played faster on the cloud.
