Auregan moved to the United States in 2017. This year, despite all challenges 2020 got us all to overcome, she recorded her new song “This Freedom” in Nashville, with Gold and Platinum certified hitmaker Jeff Coplan.
From France to USA: the Road to Nashville
Moving from Paris to Los Angeles in 2017, Auregan is already walking her boots in Nashville, Tennessee, to continue her musical and personal journey.
With more than 300 songs to her catalogue, 3 released albums and 2 compilations (Sony Music / Do It Records), Auregan is a seasoned artist, praised for her energetic live performances and her poetic voice, performing in numerous festivals in the rock, folk and Celtic genres.
In 2018, Grammy Award winning A-list producer BUSBEE noticed her work. Busbee was the go-to producer to each and every Country Music artist after he discovered and launched mainstream Country Act Maren Morris with “My Church”. But late 2019, beloved producer Busbee suddenly passed away.
Finding her way to Nashville, Auregan parks her truck on Music Row in February 2020. She attends the CRS, the Country Radio Seminar, the networking mecca of the Country Music Industry.
She meets all major players and makes friends with many radio programmers. She walks in the legendary Ryman auditorium and attends live performances by Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Kip Moore, who also were some of the first Contemporary Country Song she discovered on Sirius XM years before.
A few weeks and a tornado later (March 2), Auregan walks into Jeff Coplan’s recording studio in East Nashville.

Jeff Coplan is a star producer, radio hitmaker, Airplay country #1, RIAA Gold and Platinum multi certified, long time producer of country superstar TIM HICKS.
A couple sessions after, they put the final touch on “This Freedom”, Auregan’s first song of her upcoming 4th studio album, the first to be recorded in the USA.
“This Freedom” tells Auregan’s real life story, landing in Los Angeles, driving across America with her Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck; stopping on her way through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansa and Mississippi to sing her songs to strangers, until she reaches Nashville, the songwriting capital of the world.
As the only French singer-songwriter in Country Music, Auregan definitely brings something truly unique to the Contemporary Country and Americana genres.
Auregan is an active member of the NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), the Academy of Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, the SCL (Society of Composers & Lyricists), the Americana Music Association, the Songwriters Guild of America, SACEM and ASCAP.
