This year also sees two exciting additions to the overall Firefly experience:  the first, called The Nest stage, will feature an all-star DJ lineup for a huge dance party in the woods spread throughout the weekend.  The second addition to this year’s Firefly is an onsite roller rink located in the North Hub Beach Club, open Wednesday to welcome campers from 3 pm to 8 pm and from 10:30 am to 2 pm Thursday – Sunday, and free for all.

As the largest East Coast camping festival, nestled in Delaware’s picturesque Woodlands, Firefly has earned its reputation as one of the country’s rite-of-passage destinations for music lovers across the U.S.  With a similar approach to bringing fans the larger than life experiences that helped establish the likes of Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds as must-attend events, Firefly has grown into one of the biggest, most-beloved music weekends in America.  Firefly’s return in 2021 will be exactly what fans needed from the live setting they’ve been missing for over a year — incredible sets from iconic artists; the best food and beverage offerings within the Delaware Valley; unique, festival-exclusive moments that only Firefly could provide; and so much more.

Firefly Music Festival is conveniently located within driving distance from major metropolitan areas on the East Coast, including Philadelphia (under two hours), Baltimore (under two hours), Washington D.C (under two hours) and New York City (three hours). Fans can also take advantage of Amtrak service to Wilmington, Delaware as well as SEPTA and Greyhound bus line service.

Praise for Firefly:

“The East Coast’s largest open-air camping festival, Firefly has always stood out among the rest. With its scenic forested environment, famously diverse lineups, and central location between some of the biggest cities in the country, there has always been something special about it.”

Daily Beat

“It wasn’t just the music that made this trip to the Woodlands so wonderful…attendees were treated to upgraded facilities, top tier entertainment (in addition to festival performances) and creative programming all designed to foster a sense of camaraderie and community during the long weekend of music.”

District Fray Magazine

“Besides the music, what makes Firefly such a massive draw for the millennial masses with flowers in their hair and funny hats on their heads is its ready-to-party presentation on grounds that would appear surprisingly bucolic to motorists accustomed to being stuck in Route 1 traffic alongside the hulking Dover Downs…There are plenty of diversions, from lounging in the Hammock Hangout to listening in on a headphone concert in the wooded glen The Thicket, or sampling eight beers on tap brewed by Milton, De craft beer purveyors Dogfish Head in a vast air conditioned tent.”

Philadelphia Inquirer

“The weekend left guests dusty, exhausted, and with memories that will carry on with them in life. Each day offered a variety of entertainment across numerous genres and an area for fans to feel comfortable being themselves. Every nuance of Firefly proved that they are a festival that cares about the total fan experience.”

Indie Band Guru

“Mother Nature shined all three days and she even showered our hot sweaty masses Sunday before sending us home happy and satisfied. Yes, the Eastern Seaboard has an honest to God, large scale festival that can rival any out there.”

Jambase

“Firefly is amazing for seeing your favorite artists, but it’s also a great time to come across some pretty dope new ones, too.”

 Magnet Magazine

“Yet again, everything lived up to and completely passed expectations.”

Stitched Sound

“The weekend was spectacular. Firefly did it again, with amazing production, food, camping, and lineups. It was 100% worth the time and money and I will be back next year. If you live on the east coast and haven’t experienced Firefly yet, go for it. You won’t be disappointed.”

Altrevue

“Between the lush scenery, the unique attractions, and the outstanding roster of musical acts, the Firefly Festival is quickly becoming the East Coast’s must-see music event.”
