I’m a big fan of futbol aka soccer on my Xbox console. I have been enjoying playing Fifa soccer games for many years. As a Xbox Game Pass member, I’m able to play their past Fifa games under EA Play. Fifa 23 came out last year and I still haven’t had a chance to touch the game to play. Well that is going to change, I was able to download the pretty large game to my Xbox Series S console. Since it was large, it took a while to be downloaded onto my Xbox.

Once it was done downloading, I was able to try out the game and of course play like a madman. First, I played a few exhibition games with various men’s teams. I had needed to get my footing of playing Fifa again, so I was playing a like a noob for a bit. Once done getting that rust out of my system, I tried out the women’s world cup tournament. I had fun playing the women’s World Cup as U.S. team, I lost in the tournament a few times but it was pretty good. The kicking has improved so much from previous Fifa games like big time. I felt like I was able to plan out my kicks for goals much easier than I have in the past. Fun and exciting game!

Our Thoughts

Pro:

• Women’s World Cup
  • With the addition of the Women’s World Cup, I enjoyed trying out their tournament. The games were good and fast, and had a lot of fun.
• Smooth Kicks
  • I felt the kicking game side became more smooth to utilize this year. I was able to make some goals easier in this years edition than in the past.
