SÃO PAULO, Brazil – June 26, 2024 – Enter the Chronosphere, the psychedelic turn-based bullet hell roguelike developed by Effort Star and published by Joystick Ventures, brings its genre-blending experience to gamescom latam, formerly BIG Festival, this Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30 at the BIG Festival booth on the show floor.
Enter the Chronosphere’s presence at the BIG Festival booth serves as the only way for the public to go hands-on with this roguelike that combines the careful, tactical planning of turn-based titles with the intensity and acrobatics of real-time action. The BIG Festival jury has nominated Enter the Chronosphere for “Best Gameplay” and “Innovation,” with winners to be determined on Friday, June 28, by an esteemed jury of games media and developers from around the world.
Fight to destroy the time-obliterating chronospheres as a motley crew including the “bearzerker” Urtar, and the dodge-rolling Marcia, who might be the last human in existence. Wield a variety of weapons like reliable revolvers or insectoid stingers that can pull and stab foes. Synergize character abilities and weapons with a variety of passive and active abilities like monocles that strengthen bullets, and heel spurs that can negate enemy bullets.
