April 3, 2025 – Hooded Horse and Amplitude Studios are excited to share an in-depth look at the second faction coming to upcoming turn-based strategy game ENDLESS Legend 2 – The Aspects. A symbiosis of the organic and the machine, their coral unites all Aspects through a shared mind known as the Chorus.
Recently, the Chorus has come under threat as much of the coral across Saiadha has died, leaving it disconnected and in disharmony. It will be up to the player to regrow and rebuild to bring all of Saiadha into harmony once more.
In terms of gameplay, the Aspects are an economic and diplomatic empire focused on cooperation over conquest. Their main unique trait is their coral terrain – Instead of claiming territories via outposts, the Aspects first place Coral Spores that will slowly spread coral to other tiles. These can be turned into cities, but they also serve as nodes for coral growth across the map. This can help Aspect cities grow and extract dust from their surroundings, as well as offer military benefits by enabling faster healing and movement. Aspect armies can even cross water tiles that have coral.
Should the coral spread to other factions, major or minor, it enables diplomatic bonuses that make cooperating with others easier. Minor Factions will join the Aspect Empire more readily, and major factions will be more willing to accept treaties and peace deals. Other factions can benefit from letting the coral grow free within their borders as well, as the Aspects can bestow unique perks upon their allies. But should diplomacy fail, the Aspects’ military is capable of ramming home the finer points of negotiation. You can find out more about the faction and their abilities here.
