First Look:
My friends and I were excited for another adventure in the Dragonbane series with the Arkand City of Waves and Flames. When you open the book, you are greeted with a cool map that comes with the adventures. The map is large and showcases the depth of Arkand with such an ancient view. Then, we were able to read about the city lore. I enjoyed reading the city lore and how the city, over time, developed into something special.
Once done, we were able to get our characters ready and join the adventure. I’m not going to spoil much, but there are adventures in many different parts of the city. You learn the underground holds the real truth about Arkand and its history. This is going to be filled with battles with monsters, stories untold, and much more. I don’t want to spoil at all, because you will be playing for hours and be shocked on how well written these stories are.
One of the best Dragonbane books I’ve played!!

- You read about the city “rumors” prior to gameplay and then you learn the untold truths of the city and what it holds.
