When you think of electronic music in Texas, many names are thrown out of our readers favorite performers. Our readers enjoy electronic music and have their favorites that they listen to daily. There is a promoter though that has grown electronic music in Texas by giving opportunities for musicians to perform in festivals and events. Disco Presents has brought electronic music to the forefront with many events and festivals not only in Texas but in other states as well. This Halloween weekend in Austin, they will have a major event titled Freaky Deaky!

Now in its eighth year, Freaky Deaky will draw attendees into a dystopian laboratory where science and sound intertwine, creating an otherworldly, sonic experience that evolves across every stage and setting. The experience spans across three distinct stages—The Reactor, The Circuit, and The Lab—each shaping its own sonic identity within the world of “The Revival.” The whole experience is rounded out with global electronic headliners ILLENIUM, Disco Lines, Boogie T, Crankdat, Mary Droppinz, Liquid Stranger, SLANDER, SIDEPIECE, Odd Mob, WHETHAN, and more.

Behind it all is Disco Presents, led by founder James “Disco Donnie” Estopinal Jr., a pioneering figure in U.S. dance music. The company now produces 300+ shows annually in Texas, operates major festivals like Ubbi Dubbi and Lights All Night, and recently opened SILO Dallas, (named #39 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs in the world), further cementing Dallas-Fort Worth as a key stop for global touring artists (like Benny Benassi, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Lilly Palmer, and more)
