2021 has been a very important year for the Bogota band Diamante Eléctrico , who today receive their 4 Latin Grammy ®️ nominations , closing with a flourish the launch of their album “Look what you made me do” after important achievements such as their most recent presentation at the Tiny Desk Concert for NPR and his return to the US stage with the announcement of the most anticipated concert tour of the year with Café Tacuba , which will start at Irving Plaza in New York on November 2 .
In addition to appearing in the categories Best Pop Rock Album with “Look what you made me do” and Best Pop Rock Song with ” A Veces “, Diamante Eléctrico surprised by being nominated for Record of the Year with ” Suéltame, Bogotá ” and Song of the Year with “ A Veces ”, two of the most important shortlists of the event that will be televised live on November 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The 22nd Annual Latin GRAMMY®️ Awards will air live on Univision starting at 8 pm ET / PT ( 7 pm Central ). It will also be broadcast on TNT (cable) at 7:00 p.m. (MEX) / 8:00 p.m. (PAN-COL) / 9:00 p.m. (VEN) / 10:00 p.m. (ARG / CHI) .
Before the broadcast, the Latin GRAMMY®️ La Premiere ceremony will be held , in which the winners in most categories will be announced.
“How nice to see that an album that we made in the middle of a pandemic has been able to connect with people like that, that is the real prize for all this” – Juan Galeano
“These nominations have two important things: one is to move to Pop / Rock categories, where we consider our sound to be with this album, and the other is to sneak into 2 of the 4 main categories, which was one of our goals for several years”
– Daniel Alvarez

Led by Juan Galeano and Daniel Álvarez , the famous band is approaching 10 years in the music scene as a group. Together they have brought their infectious live show to some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Coachella , Austin City Limits , Lollapalooza , Vive Latino , SWSX , Rock Al Parque and Eurockenness . They have played with the Foo Fighters , The Rolling Stones and The Raconteurs . They collaborated with such greats as Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top , Enrique Bunbury, Kase O and Alison Mosshart from The Kills .
