DEI V UNLEASHES LOS FLAVORZ, A GENRE-BENDING EP SHAPING THE FUTURE OF LATIN MUSIC

MIAMI (March 28, 2024) – After unveiling his much-anticipated LOS FLAVORZ USA TOUR 2025, Puerto Rican trailblazer Dei V drops his bold, genre-defying seven-track EP of the same name. A powerful reflection of his journey and evolution as an artist, LOS FLAVORZ brings together the next generation of Latin music’s most electrifying talents, featuring rising stars Clarent, De La Rose and the esteemed Omar Courtz. LOS FLAVORZ and the official music video for focus track “Quiere” are now available on streaming platforms.

Dei V’s LOS FLAVORZ EP Tracklist:
1. Loco
2. Lolly ft. Clarent
3. Sirena
4. Toa ft. De La Rose
5. Amber ft. Omar Courtz
6. Quiere (Focus Track)
7. Fast N Furious

Kicking off the EP, “Loco” showcases Dei V’s evolution as an artist, both in name and in style, reflecting his rise from humble beginnings to success. It opens with a hard-hitting Urbano trap beat that sets an aggressive and confident tone, reinforcing his self-made journey and street-learned wisdom. The lyrics emphasize his independence, loyalty to his roots and newfound luxury, contrasting his past struggles with his present achievements. With the powerful line “Antes decían David es un loco, ahora soy Dei V el del Flavor,” meaning “They used to say David is crazy, now I’m Dei V, the one with the Flavor,” Dei V marks a pivotal change in both identity and sound. At this moment, the beat shifts, slowing down momentarily as if to acknowledge his past before dropping again with renewed intensity. This transition mirrors his reinvention—renouncing his former self to become Dei V, a name now associated with success and style. The track seamlessly blends introspection with celebration, making it both a personal testament and a club-ready anthem.

The focus track “Quiere” delves into themes of passion, longing and the intoxicating cycle of desire and detachment. The accompanying music video, directed by Kidd Camara, mirrors this energy with a dreamlike, surreal aesthetic. Opening in a sleek apartment overlooking the water, we see Dei V getting his hair dyed by a mysterious woman, setting the tone for the song’s intimate yet fleeting connection. As he performs in a dimly lit hallway, the woman begins to glow, her presence flickering closer to the camera like an apparition. The visuals shift to a waterfront parking lot, where the two drift through a neon-lit cityscape—quick flashes of skyscrapers, trains and rain-slicked streets adding to the fast-paced allure. In an elevator, wrapped in smoke, they embrace, their passion unfolding through fragmented moments in time. The video closes with Dei V standing alone, glowing as the elevator doors shut, leaving viewers caught between reality and illusion to match the song’s intoxicating vibe.

“Lolly” ft. Clarent emerges as a bold statement of success, power and desire, wrapped in the hard-hitting beats of reggaeton-infused trap. The song continues the themes of wealth, excess and street-earned respect, painting a picture of his rise from the underground to the high life. Flexing their riches, from luxury cars to designer jewelry, Dei V and Clarent shed their past and embrace a new identity of fame and influence, delivering a classic Urbano track that captures the essence of ambition and hedonism. While the previously released “Sirena” takes listeners into the deep allure of a love affair, where passion and escapism are at the forefront,  “Toa” recruits rising Puerto Rican star De La Rose, a sensual and infectious reggaeton track that blends desire, passion and late-night nostalgia. With a hypnotic beat and steamy lyrics, the song captures the push and pull of an intense romance, where love, lust and longing collide. De La Rose’s sultry vocals add a fresh dynamic, balancing Dei V’s signature trap-reggaeton flow with a feminine touch that enhances the song’s seductive and undeniable magnetism. “Amber” blends Dei V‘s signature raw lyricism with Omar Courtz‘s powerful delivery, creating an irresistible mix of street swagger and seduction. The track pulses with heavy-hitting beats and fiery wordplay, weaving a tale of desire, luxury and unfiltered passion. “Amber” captures the essence of modern Latin trap, seamlessly building into a bold statement of power, pleasure and high-end living, solidifying both artists as dominant forces in the Urbano scene.

Closing out the EP with high-octane energy, “Fast N Furious” is a pulsating fusion of electro, Urbano trap that solidifies Dei V’s versatility. With a hard-hitting beat and futuristic synths, the track embodies the rush of the fast life—luxury, ambition and street hustle. Lyrically, Dei V reflects on his come-up, from struggling to making it big, while keeping loyalty and passion at the core. The hypnotic production mirrors the adrenaline of the title, making it the perfect finale—bold, electrifying, and built for the nightlife.
