DEDSTRANGE’S MUSIC TO MELT YOUR EARBRAIN SXSW SHOWCASE & LABEL LAUNCH

Dedstrange’s earbrain melting lineup spans the globe from Brooklyn Noise Rock titans A Place To Bury Strangers to Berlin gutter punks Jealous, Toronto’s legendary Eectronic collective Holy F, Suicide-inflected Berlin via New Zealand’s Data Animal, Montreal’s proflific psych rock genius Paul Jacobs (of Pottery) and the ambient beauty of Randy Randall, guitarist for Los Angeles’ Noise Rock champs No Age.

Tuesday March 16 at 7pm CT/8pm ET

The showcase will be kicking off SXSW’s first evening of programming and will be screened virtual reality at iconic Austin venue, Mohawk.  It will also be the debut performance of the new lineup of A Place To Bury Strangers.

Dedstrange is a brand new record label built from the smoldering decay of the music industry and now supporting the new flesh of the scene to let their pure unadulterated passion hit the streets. It is formed by people who have played the game, got beaten down over and over again, but just have to go on because this music has power.

Dedstrange is Death By Audio / A Place To Bury Strangers‘ Oliver Ackermann, basement bongo disco freak Mitchell O’ Sullivan, and the manager with the golden heart, Steven Matrick.

Dedstrange is launching itself into existence with a virtual SXSW showcase featuring several future collaborators and friends:

A Place To Bury Strangers

Data Animal

Holy F

Jealous

Paul Jacobs

Randy Randall
