Dead Age Review on PlayStation 4

Summary:

Survive the zombie apocalypse with turn-based combat and permanent death! Manage survivors, go on dangerous scavenging runs, build alliances, craft equipment, make difficult story-influencing decisions, defend your camp against undead hordes and experience non-linear rogue-lite elements. An innovative Indie Survival-RPG!

Dead age is a strategic turn-based RPG (Roleplaying Game), starting out you have only one character class but as you progress you’ll unlock different character classes with different attributes and talents. Gameplay diving in at first may be frustrating and feel unforgiving to those not familiar with permadeath games where every action you do must be precisely thought out cause one mistake can send you all the way back to the beginning after the grind you put in. Because of such playstyle, it makes you care for your character’s safety a bit more rather than being reckless thinking you have a nice reset waiting. The story is replayable & non-linear where you’re given decision choosing moments that can be revisited later on by different characters to see those what-if choices. The visuals of the game aren’t anything that’ll have you in ah, where the true fun of the game lies is within the gameplay & mechanics. From upgrading weapons, crafting weapons, & upgrading skills in different class areas. Dead age is overall a pretty fun game and for more information on it be sure to check out the links below.
