I am having to say right off the back this game is challenging. Using a controller would probably be the best way to play this game but I have been so used to playing games like Hades using mouse and keyboard is all I know. Dandy Ace is known as the best up and coming Magician in the world but an evil Magician named Lele is out to take the title and has trapped Mr. Ace in cursed mirror. It is your job as Mr. Ace face the challenges that Lele has set and escape the cursed mirror.  

I absolutely fell in love with the theme of this game and even some of the character art is similar so Persona. The character designs are definitely unique and the voice acting is one point. Mr. Ace has that charismatic personality but as well as kind and gentle. He is accompanied but his 2 assistants Jolly Jolly & Jenny Jenny. They are the two characters that are able to help him upgrade his magical abilities and defeat Lele from his evil plan.  

Gameplay is absolutely addicting. You start off with magical cards that give you different abilities that again are themed around Magicians tricks. Cards, spotlights, and many different types of illusions are used to be able to defeat the creatures that Lele has summoned to stop you in escaping. The control tutorial is something you do have to pay attention to because some Cards are better than others and some can even be stacked on top of each other to be able to do more damage.  

As you progress you are challenged with more and more enemies which at times gets very overwhelming. I felt that there were times that it was too much and it was very hard for me to progress through the demo. Again, this is someone that has played a lot of Hades and used to this type of game but even on normal it seemed a little difficult. The music development was really catchy and I kept on wanting more. Every section of the game the music just kept bringing me in more and more. It never got boring.  

I am super excited to see this game in all its glory when it is finally finished and released. This has a lot of potential in becoming a top tier Indie game of 2021 and if you are not sure if this game is going to be for you, do not forget that this is a demo and is 100% free to play. I recommend this game to anyone who loves Action Role-Playing games to give this game a try. Mad Mimic you created something very unique and I am excited to see what you have up your sleeves on the final release!
