A history filled game that had you wanting to learn more of the culture while going throughout each level. Clan O’Conall and the Crown of the Stag is a pretty cool game where you are 3 different characters to find and stop the mother of demons. I have to say this game is pretty damn cool! I have a lot of “arcade type” memories while playing this game. I think fans will enjoy this game not only for its Celtic traditions but also for a gameplay that is fun and different.

I was able to sit down and play this game on my laptop using Steam. The game played very smooth pn my non gaming laptop yet the story was very intriguing and hooked me hard. I did a quick review below of the game but I have to say, go on to Steam and get this game! You will dig it too!

Here is the review:

Pro:

  • Story
    • This game is filled with Celtic traditions that fills the game with a lot of cultural aspects. You play as 3 different characters which are brothers and sister that fight their way to save their chief. Their chief is their father as well! They must stop the mother of demons from creating chaos in their home area and with the different groups. You go through different levels utilizing each character’s abilities in order to collect all the fairies and complete the levels.
  • Gameplay
    • I found the gameplay quite easy and fun! The controls were very easy as utilizing the characters abilities and switching between them as well. This felt like an arcade game where you would play at the arcade and trying to finish the game by doing a speed run.
  • Gaming Art
    • I’m a big fan of graphic novel art as I’m a huge graphic novel reader. The art displaced in the story video felt like it was popped straight from a graphic novel. You can feel the emotion of the characters of the game displayed through the story video. The game features 2D features while playing which I’m digging the switch up between the 2D and graphic novel art. This gave fans more of a surprise throughout the game!
