VILE is back on the scene, and for once, ACME and Carmen Sandiego have a common enemy. In a rare and temporary alliance, the world’s greatest thief must track down the syndicate before they can pull off their next big heist. Rookie gumshoes and seasoned detectives are invited to put their sleuthing skills to the test whether it’s in the narrative driven main campaign or the classic mode ‘The Acme Files’.
I was able to get a digital key to play the new Carmen Sandiego game on my Xbox Series S console. The game downloaded quite quickly to my console and wasn’t too hefty. I started the game and noticed the classic graphics you would see in the older games of Carmen Sandiego. I’m a big fan of that as it looked very up to date on my Xbox Series S console. The story is pretty neat as a fighter jet is stolen and now is missing as it can go invincible. Your journey as Carmen Sandiego is to collect clues to where will the pilot take the jet next. You work with your partner and various people to investigate cities all around the world to find that jet. Oh and you have seven days to find it…no pressure! This is pretty neat as there are a lot of fun facts of cities, countries, and more with all the information Carmen finds during her investigation. I enjoyed playing this game as it brought back ideas of my youth. This will have children enjoy playing detective as well as learning various aspects of countries of the world.
