Three brand new Mercenaries join the ranks, along with highly anticipated Tournament Mode
SEATTLE – MAY 2, 2019 | Brown Dust, the hit tactical RPG from Neowiz, which recently surpassed two million downloads across iOS and Android, today launches its latest massive content update complete with three brand new Mercenaries to recruit, a brand new story for two of your favorite Mercenaries, new costumes, and new events. Perhaps the most anticipated part of the new content update is the Tournament Mode, which collects the top 128 players to compete each month for prizes and the chance to be named Champion, will hold its inaugural kick-off on May 30th.
Let the Tournament Begin!
Brown Dust’s Tournament Mode invites the top 128 players on each server to compete in a monthly tournament that crowns a new Champion and gives rewards to all who participate. Want to participate, but can’t quite crack the top ranks? You can still get rewards by merely cheering on your favorite Captain too – up to five free Premium Scrolls are given to players whose chosen favorites advance to the Round of 16. And the Winner of these monthly competitions? Not only will the Champion receive a cache of Diamonds to buy in-game items, they’ll also receive unique tickets that will allow them to purchase unique costumes only available to tournament participants.
The three new Mercenaries, dubbed “The Iron Ladies”, are none other than Wilhelmina, Laura, and Charlotte – a ★5 Warrior, ★5 Support, and a ★4 Magician. With powerful single-target attacks that ignore enemy defense, and a high crit rate buff, Wilhelmina is a deadly melee warrior. Meanwhile, your army is sure to outlast the opponent with the crafty support skills of Laura, who can increase your units ATK and Crit Damage while also imbuing them with a shield that shocks would-be attackers. And of course, let’s not forget Charlotte who can attack in a broad area with Curse, Healing Prohibition, and Burn.
As if that wasn’t enough, there are two brand new costumes for Veronia and Ceres, which can be purchased with unique tickets given from Tournament Mode participation. There is also a brand new substory campaign that highlights the story of Carlson, too. There’s even more new content on the way, but we’re also revising our free Level-Up Package which will greatly increase the number of useful items you’ll receive as you play through the campaign and level up your captains. Get leveling!
