A favorite among music fans in Brazil, Mioto has cultivated an audience of more
than 12 million followers across his platforms and over seven million monthly listeners on Spotify while building a reputation as one of his country’s most respected artists.“I have always been a fan of Country music, but there was one specific day that changed the entire trajectory of my life. I was watching TV and caught the CMT Crossroads episode with Keith Urban and John Mayer. It absolutely blew my mind. In that moment, everything clicked. I saw how you could combine the melancholic soul of John Mayer with the Country-rock energy of Keith Urban. It was the perfect blend of emotional depth and rockstar performance. That exact collaboration is the reason I picked up the guitar and started to play,” says Mioto.
“Since that day, my connection to country music became personal. It led me to visit Nashville for the first time about ten years ago, and I instantly fell in love with the city, the culture, and the people. Being there made me realize that this music isn’t just something I listen to—it’s exactly who I am as an artist”
Blending contemporary country influences heartfelt lyricism; “Last Goodbye” reflects the storytelling and emotional connection that first drew Mioto to the genre. The release has already generated strong momentum, surpassing 1 million Spotify streams within its first month.
“Look, ‘Last Goodbye’ has been doing big things back home in Brazil, and honestly, I’m just so proud of how folks have wrapped their arms around it. Brazilians are warm, passionate people…we live for a good story, especially when it’s a real tear-jerker. But the thing is, heartbreak doesn’t need a passport. It’s the one language the whole wide world speaks fluently,” he adds.
Signed to Universal Music, in partnership with MCA, with international representation by WME, Mioto has spent more than a decade developing a career that has earned him widespread acclaim, multiple chart successes, and a devoted fan base throughout Brazil and beyond. While deeply rooted in his Brazilian heritage, he is among a growing group of international artists embracing Nashville’s songwriting tradition and helping introduce country music to audiences around the world.
Born in Votuporanga, São Paulo, Mioto began playing guitar at six years old and wrote his first song at age 10. By 13, he was already performing professionally and building the foundation for a career that would eventually include nine albums and three live DVD projects.
Growing up as the son of Marcos Mioto, one of Brazil’s leading concert promoters, music was always a part of his life. Before pursuing it full-time, he worked at a gas station while continuing to hone his craft. Beyond music, Mioto is a multi-instrumentalist, avid gamer, Twitch streamer, and creator of the popular “MiotoSessions” social media series, where he performs acoustic interpretations of both his own songs and fan-favorite hits from a variety of genres.
With “Last Goodbye,” Mioto continues to build a bridge between Brazil’s vibrant music culture and Nashville’s renowned songwriting community, creating a sound that feels both globally inspired and unmistakably personal.
