FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Boston Uprising announced today that the team has parted ways with

French DPS player Terence “SoOn” Tarlier due to visa issues.

SoOn, 27, joined the Boston Uprising in December 2020 as one of several offseason signings. Unfortunately, he was unable to join the team in Massachusetts this year because of issues obtaining a visa.

“It hurts to have to let SoOn go due to circumstances out of our control,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of the Uprising. “We were all looking forward to having SoOn on the team this year and we tried our hardest to get him here. We wish him the best of luck moving forward in his career.”

The Boston Uprising are currently preparing for the start of the 2021 Overwatch League season. The Uprising’s season will kick off at 4:30 PM on April 24 against the Los Angeles Gladiators.

SoOn’s career history:
2020-2021: Boston Uprising (OWL)
2018-2020: Paris Eternal (OWL)

2017-2018: Los Angeles Valiant (OWL)

2016-2017: Rogue

2016: Misfits

2016: Graviton Surge
