BOSTON UPRISING MUTUALLY PART WAYS WITH GABRIEL “SWIMMER” LEVY

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Boston Uprising announced today that the team has mutually parted ways with American support player Gabriel “Swimmer” Levy.

Swimmer, 19, joined the Boston Uprising in November 2019 and appeared in the Uprising’s first three matches of the season. Prior to joining the Boston Uprising, Swimmer played for the Uprising Academy in Overwatch Contenders, originally joining the organization in late 2018.

“We respect Swimmer’s decision to take a step back from league play at this time and wish him the best going forward,” said Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for the Uprising. “We are thankful for his contributions to the team and hope to see him competing again soon.”

The Uprising’s season will continue this weekend, as they play against the Toronto Defiant at 9:00 PM on Friday, April 17. The match will be streamed live on YouTube.
